Since Easter we have been getting ourselves straight after the upheaval caused by the kitchen refurbishment. As normal service resumed, our weekly cake making continued with gusto. Residents baked a delicious Victoria sponge as well as cupcakes decorated with lashings of icing and chocolate buttons. Luckily our weekly chair yoga sessions do what they can to mitigate the effects of all those yummy treats!

Another culinary delight this month was the delivery of a traditional fish and chip supper from the shop across the road. The mouth-watering smell of salt and vinegar wafted through Timberlog alerting the residents to its delivery and they relished tucking into the crispy battered fish and chunky chips, washed down by copious cups of tea. You can’t beat a classic!
